The BOC82DT has two tweeters instead of one. DT stands for Dual Tweeter. This allows the speaker to reproduce stereo sound (left and right) from a single in-wall or in-ceiling speaker.

This makes it ideal for spaces where there is no room for two separate speakers, yet you still want to enjoy a full stereo experience.
